Projects:

Sponsoring the revival of local artistic traditions

Seeking the connections between artistic traditions, culture and textile, Tel Dan promotes various projects of artist and traditional weavers and designers, developing range of products based on artists designs recreated on textile exclusively by Tel Dan.

Abessinia
Abessinia is an exclusive line inspired by Ethiopian artworks and was initiated in 2006. Eighteen Ethiopian grass roots artists who are icon painters, manuscript writers and designers were gathered in a design workshop creating hundreds of hand-drawn artworks. The Abessinia Creative Team in Thailand translated the artworks to textile designs and produces all kinds of home decor products such as bedding, dining sets, decorative cushions, kids products and outdoor textiles.

To this day, Abessinia designs are still part of Tel Dan collections, matching various trends and being selected by our customers to produce exclusive designs and line of products for their shops

Our team of designer interpret their local traditions to transcript the motifs of their ancient culture into the tremendously competitive and fast changing world of design.

Tel Dan is working in collaboration with Royal Patronage associations and institutions in Thailand that gather unlimited libraries of all the regional traditional designs applied to textile.
